CORE TEAM

Alisa Anh Kotmair
Writer, artist, and editor exploring language, memory, and belonging in the Vietnamese diaspora.
Her projects have included film, visual art, dance, and cross-cultural collaboration, alongside writing in art, architecture, and design. She exhibited in Gap Viet Nam (1999), the first exhibition at Haus der Kulturen der Welt (HKW), Berlin, showcasing work by artists from Vietnam and the Vietnamese diaspora.

Pipo Bui
Cultural scholar, author, environmentalist, and community organizer.
Her book Envisioning Vietnamese Migrants in Germany: Ethnic Stigma, Immigrant Origin Narratives and Partial Masking (LIT Verlag Münster, 2003) examines Vietnamese migration and representation in Germany. She has curated exhibits on ecological restoration, coffee farming, and urban development.

Lưu Bích Ngọc
Cultural practitioner focused on accessibility and empowerment in the arts and academia.
Author of the zine nhớ nhớ quên quên (2025) on mourning and remembrance in marginalized communities in Central Vietnam and Berlin, and curator of Vietnamese film festivals in Berlin in 2024 and 2025.

Amelie Mai Gottsmann
Art historian specializing in contemporary art, new media, and art education.
Currently pursuing a master’s in Art and Visual History at Humboldt University of Berlin after a bachelor’s in Art History and Musicology. She works at the intersection of art, musical practice, and art mediation.
